Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of www.textforge.tools (the “Site”), operated by MapleNyx Consulting Partners Ltd. (“TextForge”, “we”, “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. The service
TextForge provides free, browser-based tools for working with text, together with educational guides. The tools run on your device. We may add, change or remove tools or content at any time without notice.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site or its output for anything unlawful, including sending unsolicited bulk messages (spam), harassment, fraud or infringing the rights of others;
- use tools such as the Email Extractor to collect contact details for people who have not agreed to be contacted;
- attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its infrastructure;
- copy or republish substantial parts of the Site’s content, design or code without our written permission;
- interfere with the advertising on the Site, including by clicking ads artificially or encouraging others to do so.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to the text you enter. Because processing happens in your browser, we do not receive or store it. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use and process any text you enter, and for checking results before relying on them.
4. Our content
The Site’s design, code, guides and other content are owned by MapleNyx Consulting Partners Ltd. or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may use the tools and share links to our pages freely. Short quotations with a link back to the source are welcome.
5. Advertising and third-party links
The Site shows ads served by Google and may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products or services, and a link or ad is not an endorsement. Your dealings with advertisers are solely between you and them.
6. No warranty
The Site and all tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. While we test our tools carefully, we do not guarantee that results will be error-free. Guides are for general information only and are not professional, legal or technical advice. Always keep a copy of your original text and review results before using them.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MapleNyx Consulting Partners Ltd. and its directors, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold MapleNyx Consulting Partners Ltd. harmless from claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and forms part of these Terms.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of the Province of Ontario, unless the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
