About the Count Duplicate Words
Repeating the same word too often makes writing feel flat, and it is hard to notice in your own drafts. This tool counts how many times each word appears and lists only the words used more than once, with the most frequent first.
Matching ignores upper and lower case, so “Report” and “report” are counted together. Common words like “the”, “and” and “of” appear in every text, so they are skipped by default to make the overused words easier to see.
How to use it
- Paste your text.
- Choose whether to ignore common words.
- Click Find Repeated Words and review the list.

Is the search case-sensitive?
No. Words are compared in lowercase.
What are stop words?
