About the Comma Separated to List
Tags, keywords, email recipients and CSV rows often arrive as one long comma separated line. This tool splits them into a vertical list that is easy to read, sort or paste into a spreadsheet column.
Items are trimmed and empty items are dropped. Values wrapped in double quotes are kept whole, even if they contain the delimiter, following the CSV standard. You can use any delimiter, such as a semicolon, pipe or tab.
How to use it
- Paste your comma separated text.
- Change the delimiter if needed.
- Click Convert to List and copy the result.

Can I split by semicolons or pipes?
Yes. Enter the delimiter you need.
How are quoted values handled?
Text inside double quotes is kept together, and doubled quotes inside it become a single quote character.
