Break long lines so that none is longer than the width you choose.

Tip: press Ctrl + Enter to run.

About the Text Wrapper

Plain-text emails, commit messages, terminal output, printed labels and some data formats need lines of a fixed maximum length. This tool rewraps your text to the width you choose.

In word boundaries mode, lines break between words and words are never split unless a single word is longer than the limit. In exactly every N characters mode, a break is inserted after every N characters, which is useful for fixed-width data, Base64 blocks and keys. Existing line breaks are kept.

How to use it

  1. Paste your text.
  2. Set the maximum line length and the break mode.
  3. Click Wrap Text and copy the result.
